I am so excited for Christmas I almost can't stand it. Christmas has always been fun but add kids to the mix and it is 100 times better. Add kids to the mix that are starting to understand Christmas (the presents and the fact that it is a birthday celebration of Jesus Christ) and it is 200 times better. I can't wait for Hobbes to wake up Christmas morning and see all his gifts. Hobbes is already obsessed with Santa. He met him at our ward Christmas party last Saturday night and he keeps asking me where the North Pole is. I have shown him on his globe and now he will show me where it is. He asks me when Santa is coming and he walks around the house saying "Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!" in a deep Santa Claus voice. We HAVE to have the lights on our tree turned on at all times. Hobbes insists. He loves pointing out all the Christmas lights as we drive around in the evening and it will be fun to take him to Temple Square this year. He is going to be amazed. Everything about Christmas is so magical. It is so much fun watching my children experience the magic of such a beautiful holiday. What a great time of year to celebrate family, to celebrate love, to celebrate the birth of the Savior of the World.
